NEW BUSINESS
Tournaments/Club Games
Bev announced Manoa is available for first Sunday morning games Sunday, September 4th and Sunday, November 6th. We are looking for a venue for first Sunday games for May, June, July, August, October and December. Because of low attendance at the Sunday afternoon Sectional pairs game, the board approved scheduling Swiss Teams only on Sundays of the Sectionals – no pair games on Sunday.

Publicity/Newsletter
The board approved Iris’s suggestion to discontinue the quarterly newsletters as pertinent information is now available on the website. Iris will expand the Sectional flyers to include newsworthy information and will include a 2-month calendar on the flyers.

Hospitality
John announced the next luncheon will be for the lecture "eight is enough" game on April 10th. Lunch will be served at the May Sectional.

The next Board meeting will be held on May 15th at the Ala Wai. Meetings will begin at 11:15 unless otherwise noted. The meeting was adjourned at 2:25 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
Anne Niethammer, Secretary, April 15, 2011
